not just print
Precision where it matters most.
LEHNER's sensor and systems expertise extends beyond print automation. In the MITASSIST project, we apply the same engineering rigour to a field where accuracy is equally critical: medical wearables.
the challenge
Patients are often left alone
So far, there has been no effective support for the treatment of mental illnesses such as depression or anxiety disorders. In everyday life, patients are often left alone with their condition. The interactive, body-worn medical technology of the Mitassist system closes the gap between outpatient and inpatient care.

the solution
Better care for the patient
With the Mitassist system, therapists can analyze a patient's condition through continuous monitoring, rule out pharmacological side effects, and provide psychotherapeutic feedback. This ensures better care for the patient, even outside of inpatient stays.
how it works
Integrated feedback system sends information
The Mitassist system continuously measures and evaluates data such as movement patterns, activity radius, sleep profile, and stress and metabolic parameters. The device is worn comfortably on the patient's forearm. An integrated feedback system sends information about behavioral changes, defined in advance together with the patient. If the patient is inactive due to depression or experiencing stress, the system provides feedback on therapeutic behavioral changes, helping to ease the situation.

LEHNER's Role
As an ISO / ATEX certified company, LEHNER takes on the complex task of system development and production in the MITASSIST project. LEHNER is jointly responsible for the overall success of the project and its continuation in differentiated applications. LEHNER's competencies in this project include mechanical and electronic development, prototype construction, injection molding, wireless sensor data transmission, low-energy management, and cross-system hardware/software integration.
