The Association for Self-adhesive Labels and Future Technologies (VskE) is actively committed to promoting and supporting the labelling market. To this end, VskE tackles a wide range of topics. These range from technology development and digitalisation, the need for skilled workers and consumer protection to ecology, market data, standardisation work, recycling, recruitment of young talent and representation in the media.
Last weekend, we were able to take part in the vske conference in Würzburg and give a presentation on the topic of "Automation in flexographic printing". Thank you very much for the invitation! This vske conference was far more than just a simple industry meeting. It was a meeting of committed experts with a lot of heart.
Flexographic printing is one of the fastest growing printing processes and is increasingly utilising the benefits of automation to improve efficiency, precision and print quality - and not least to counter the ever-increasing shortage of skilled workers. With the latest flexographic printing technology, print shops can increase labour efficiency by reducing time and costs in the value-added process.
